How to Donate

If you are passionate about educating less-privileged kids and want to see them shine too, you have come to the right place.

Kalvi Foundation, a registered non-profit charitable trust, was set up with the personal funds of the 4 Trustees and they continue to contribute on a regular basis to build the Corpus Fund.  It is our intention to only spend the interest gained from this Fund to finance our projects as otherwise we run the risk of taking on something that we may not be able to sustain in the long run.  If you agree with this policy and feel a connection with Kalvi Foundation, you are welcome to donate money or you could donate in kind.

We are grateful to all those who have come forward to unconditionally donate funds to Kalvi Foundation.  We deeply respect the trust you’ve placed in us.

Have you registered as a non-profit? will help many other contribute from outside as well if there is a non-profit code associated to the organization.

      Hey Rakesh,

      Thanks for your inputs.

Yes, we are registered as a non-profit charitable trust and are also registered with the Income Tax Exemptions under Sec.12AA of the IT Act. We are in the process of applying for our 80G registration, once that’s done, donations to Kalvi Foundation will have tax benefits. Totally agree that we need to mention that Kalvi Foundation is a non-profit. Will get that done. Thanks!

It was great seeing you and chatting with your son, Manav (did I get his name right?!) at the reunion. Take care and give my best to him.
